I found this interesting, although it's obvious that if Ryanair are obliged to change their rules then flight prices will be increased accordingly.

If anyone is interested, the relevant law is:

Ley 1/2011

Disposición final segunda. Modificación de la Ley 48/1960, de 21 de julio, sobre Navegación Aérea.

Artículo 97.

El transportista estará obligado a transportar de forma gratuita en cabina, como equipaje de mano, los objetos y bultos que el viajero lleve consigo, incluidos los artículos adquiridos en las tiendas situadas en los aeropuertos.

You get what you pay for with Ryanair, which is usually the cheapest fare available anywhere, and you add on what you want.  Yes they are a money grabbing.organisation but its business.  Passenger numbers must speak for themselves.  For those of us who fly often they are brilliant.

Not really because if you take a bag you pay, and if you don’t, you don’t. Same as paying for seats or priority boarding
