Holiday in Almoradi
Hi
Used to holiday in Amoradi quite often, sometimes more that once a year. But haven't been for some time.
It seems so difficult to find holidays lets now. Is there a reason for this?

Rules have changed in an attempt to stop people renting out on the quiet without paying tax, to ensure high standards, and to restrict the numbers thus leaving some affordable housing for locals. It's not just Spain but practically worldwide where those that have take away homes from those that haven't thus pricing locals out. I hope that makes sense.....second/3rd/4th homes whilst some can't afford any.
Try Hotel Almoradi.

Tourist Licenses have been required in this region since 2015, with more stringent regulations coming in several times since. I am not sure if Almoradi are currently allowing new Licenses in the town, the Town Hall can decide to limit them. I addition, communities (includes apartment blocks) can vote to not allow new Licenses or renewal of existing Tourist Licenses. It is being made deliberately harder for owners to offer legal holiday rentals, and some clampdown on illegal lets has started too.
