Hi,
I'm visiting Almoradi next month, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good taxi company, for travelling from the Airport. I've seen some crazy prices on the internet. Also, is there a bus service between Almoradi and Alicante ?

No buses unless you want a protracted journey - e.g. to Torrevieja, back to Guardamar, across to Almoradí.
I'd guess you'd probably be looking at €60 for a taxi.

I read somewhere that Agostense have a service to Orihuela that stops in Almoradi. But I cant find any details of it.

The airport website is usually pretty good, and there's no mention of such a service from the airport.

It might be worth checking out routes from Alicante itself.

You will need to catch the shuttle from the airport (top floor - departures - at the far end). Runs every 20 mins from 06.40hrs to 23.00 hrs. Get off at the bus station. www.alicante.vectalia.es
Then the Agostense Alicante to Orihuela service which stops in Almoradi. Every 3.1/4 hrs from 06.45 to 19.00. www.agostense.com
I only used it once and it's a couple of years ago, but if I remember right it was 8 euros airport to Alicante and 6 euros from Alicante to Almoradi bus station.

I was informed theres only one bus a day from Alicante which passes through Almoradi, which is correct please?
