Hi

I have stayed in Almoradi many times but my partner has always hired a car.  I have noticed however that there is a bus station and people have posted that buses run to Torrevieja, Alicante and Guardamar but when I have looked at the suggested websites some do not seem available.  Has anyone used the buses recently and are they reliable? I have found a timetable for Vega Buses but then noticed that someone had posted that a different company now run the Torrevieja route.

Any help would be appreciated.  I would be looking to use the service in April, July, August and October.

Many thanks.

The bus station is lovely but with not many buses!

Sadly the bus "station" is nothing better than a sun shade and the buses are pretty infrequent.  I got one to Alicante bus station once and it took ages, trundled along slowly bumping all the way.  We are bereft of good public transport here - sadly.  We were promised a local bus to the new Mercadona 5 years ago, still waiting, bet we get 3 all at once🥴

That’s a shame, hopefully it will improve in the future. Thank you for your reply

Bus Siguenza now run the Almoradi - Alicante and Almoradi - Guardamar services.

There is only one bus a day to Alicante (none Saturday and Sunday).

There are seven or eight a day to Guardamar (about three or four Saturday but none on Sunday)

There is also a service to Torrevieja via Quesada but I cannot remember the name of the bus operator.
