I joined the site a while ago and find it a good idea! I want to come to Spain but need my next pension unless I can gain a bit of work I hold a coach bus driving license....I work in Manchester as a bus driver , I can definitely come in 2 years when I get the other pension but would prefer to come now if I can get a little work

If driving a coach or bus in Spain, is it necessary to have to take their test ie driving on their side of the road? The reason I ask is they do not have to should they come to Britain!!

At the moment the license swap is group for group , but the Spanish are apt to drop some ..!!
Even the English owned bus tour companies here only employ Spanish drivers, which is logical really as they have to learn how to drive from this coast, down South, up North, knowing every route and they are trained for this like black cab drivers have to learn "the knowledge" in the UK, before they get the job! It's not just an employment issue but also for insurance purposes, and of course it will all be in the Spanish language.
