Before starting, please don’t send me any abusive messages,We are upset as it is.

We live in the campo and  were adopted by a semi feral male cat, about 5 years ago as a kitten, we had him neutered.

We are moving back to the UK and cannot take him with us, he couldn’t cope anyway as he is free to roam here. The purchasers are not living here permanently so cannot take him, nor can others I have asked. Can anyone advise me where I can rehome him, he wouldn’t be good with children. The person who was going to have him has changed her mind, we only have a week before leaving. We could leave him here as he can hunt his food and the farmer feeds the cats but he would still hang around the house, or put him to sleep .can anyone help.please?

Thank you.

Presume you have asked all your local animal shelters? Also, as you will know very well, feral or not, if he is used to relying on you for his supper, it’s not fair on him just to leave him? I think a shelter is your best solution, there seems to be one in Dolores.
