Afternoon just wondering is it the all over spain the amount of dog poo left all over the place we have 2 dogs and have poo bags in every pocket but the amount of poo left all over is ridiculous even seen it outside school gates all over the pavements does no one pick it up is there no law about leaving it there

You get that problem everywhere in Spain!!! Here in Benidorm, especially the streets away from the main areas, you have to walk like it's a slalom course to avoid treading in it. Disgusting people who leave the mess all over.

Dont get me started on this! Lazy owners who do not clear up their dogs mess boil my blood.
I am a dog owner myself and would never ever not pick up after my dog. Pre Covid it was always considerably worse during the summer months when second home owners arrived en masse make of that what you will, we have signs all over the Urbanisation requesting owners pick up after their dogs which are totally ignored, but as we never see these owners allowing their dogs to foul the footpaths they are never challenged.
Last year in the space of three weeks there was dog mess on the pavement outside our apartment block on 3 occasions I really resented having to clear it up and wash everything down, never was able to catch whoever was allowing their dog to do this.
Know what you mean about poo bags, we have pockets full, and a roll in the car!

We must be really lucky here in Villena. There are signs up all along the high street about cleaning up after your dog, they even have to carry a water bottle to wash away the pee. Some of the back streets do have dog poo, but not much. What a absolute pain for you all if those anti social dog owner are not cleaning up 😡
