You need a fit to fly test 72 hours before flying.I travel on Monday 20th September and I ordered my day 2 PCR test on Sunday, it arrived at my sisters where I will be staying when I get to the UK today via DPD, remember for the day 2 test the day you arrive in the UK is day zero, so for me Monday 20th is day zero I do my test on Wednesday 22nd.

Your passenger locator form should be completed 48 hours before you travel.

Other than the Spanish health form no tests are required to enter Spain.

This information is based on the assumption you are fully vaccinated.

Thankyou that is so helpful! This means that I would send off day 2 test on the Saturday and I'm coming back to Spain on the Monday. So will be back in Spain before they receive it in England.... What a waste of money

I agree, I have said this in other posts as far as I'm concerned we are paying for a code to put on a form.

With all due respect to the members in question. I too am a Spanish resident who will be going to the UK for a holiday. The only information that I will trust is that issued by HM government on its website. Anything else is possibly hearsay. This also applies to many aspects of living in Spain. Use only sources with the right credentials

I must say Graham  I admire your faith ,I think I'd rather believe what I'm told by members on this forum, than what I read on as you put it HM governments website ,there has been so much confusion created by the mixed messaging by the present government  and so many illogical decisions taken ,myself when I look at government guidance I'm more confused than ever ,enjoy your trip
