I have had a good look at health centre website, the town hall website and the N332 Facebook page and I just cannot find any information about when and how e might get the vaccination in Almoradi. The health centre phone lines seem to be gridlocked so no joy there.
Has anybody heard anything about when we might be able to get it?

We are in the same boat, no idea when or how we will be called or where we will have to attend.
Hopefully when the care home residents and frontline health workers are vaccinated they will work through the next groups, progress seems painfully slow though.

Hi Golandrina,
My understanding from reading the info on the website is that people outside of the first groups listed should expect to start receiving a call to be vaccinated from March onwards. There are no details yet of who will be included in the next phases. Is this correct?

Listening to the radio this morning, I heard that despite a slow start in the first week, the Valencian health authority has administered 85% of their first stage vaccine allocation and are on track to complete the first phase on time. Apparently, the president of the Asturias regional government arranged roll-out of their total first stage allocation in 1 week and was being hailed as a hero, so all the other regional presidents are now racing each other to be next! However, for future stages, Spain is looking for help to administer the vaccine from the Red Cross, the Army and the Private health sector because, in common with the UK and other countries I suspect, they don't have enough nurses in the State health sector. Residents in the State health system have been asked not to call their surgeries, as they will be called in for the vaccine when appropriate.
I'm 60 with no pre-existing conditions so, realistically, I think it will be around September before I'm likely to be eligible for the vaccine - I may start asking my private health insurer about it towards the end of March! :o)

Thanks Kim, good news that it is on or ahead of schedule.
I suspect the biggest issue facing all countries is getting enough vaccine supplies to inject into people. I hope the rollout continues to accelerate, I don't suppose the weather this week in Spain has helped much!

Yeah, Quiron Hosp. maybe. I think government insurance will be manana.... Today I asked the Salud in person, I asked 65 plus in march ? and I heard the famous words´ NO SAYS.´´ HORRIBLE!!
I was in the Salud at 8 AM to be without covid people and I left the place 8.15 when around 50 people, at the doorstep, alltogether were invading the place on and in and up each other. I think they went to a covid club...
