Can anyone tell me how to go about changing the address on my driving license. Do I have to go to DGT in Elche?, or I am sure I read that you can do this at the ayunamiento in Almoradi, could someone let me know please.

A Spanish driving licence does not contain a address like a UK driving licence and l am on the understanding that is why a Spanish driving licence can not be used as a official form of identification and only driver licence databases will give correct information when required, but yes contact the DGT to update your Spanish address with evidence of the change re a up to date padron from your Ayunamiento, if perhaps you are able to change locally perhaps through a special agreement with the DGT you could post your outcome. ps, l am on the understanding that you hold a Spanish licence?

Thank you, yes I do hold a Spanish Driving License since 2014 , we recently, bought a place in the next village hence need to update my license.

Two years ago I managed to change my address here https://cambiodomicilio.redsara.es/pcd/public/login.xhtml but it was a bit of a performance! One thing that it doesn't clearly explain is that you have to do your padron first.

You need a official document stating the new address. A Padron is widely accepted for most updates that may be necessary when making changes to a address.
You can do it online.
