I purchased a 4.6 litre Ford Mustang in 2011 in Florida USA. It was 10 years old then. Manufactured in 2001, first registered in Florida USA in 2002.
It remained in Virginia and I used it with plates/tags and insurance for 2 years until 2013 when I imported it to Aruba and registered it ...Read more...

Aruba to France 2018.
It has been garaged in France ever since 2018 until now. Not registered or used on road.
Now, as I’m moving to ALMORADI, I’d like to register it in Spain, insure and use.
My questions are :1. As it’s over 20 years old does it have “classic” status ?
2. What is procedure and approximate cost. ?
3. Does it escape emission control because 20+years old ?
4. Should I transport to Spain and then register ? OR
5. Can I get paperwork done online before bringing car ?

They dealt with the import of our car from the UK and are very knowledgeable. Unsure whether they deal with classics but it's worth an enquiry.
If you are successful and are ever in the Ontinyent area, can I have a drive of it please.
