Hi I understand there is a care company owning three nursing homes in the area, does anybody know if they have British residents and British staff or is it totally Spanish. I know there are quite a few elderly expats so wondered if these homes catered for them if needed

I assume you mean Casaverde. A friend of ours spent some of his final days there. I can't tell you about the level of care, but I do know that it was very expensive. If nobody else responds, I suggest you go along and talk to them.

A friend was briefly at Casa Verde in Guardamar where he deteriorated after he was discharged from hospital we found another care home in Torrevieja called Mar Bella where he improved almost immediately. The staff are Spanish although that admin staff speak English and ther are British residents and it is also cheaper

Hi,

I am not sure of its name, but there is a care home in Residencial Parque de las Naciones, next to Misol camping which is across the road from the Park of Nations in Torrevieja (See map).

I know of two eldery English ladies that have been there for several years and I am told that they are both happy there.
