Can anyone recommend any good vegan/vegetarian restaurants and or cafes (cake shops) in Almoradi or surrounding areas.

Hi I can recommend a vegetarian restaurant in Torrevieja. If your back is to the fountain and you are faceing a restaurent, the vegetarian cafe is on your left down a side street. It runs from front to back so you can walk straight through the restaurent to the back. Beckies

The Cosecha restaurant near Benijofar have vegetarian options on their menu. I noticed when we were there for lunch a few days ago, and they also mark all relevant menu items for anyone who suffers from allergies.
My wife thinks Cosecha are really good. I think the food is good, but it's too English for my taste. For anyone who's been here a while, it's the successor to the old Viloriens.
If you want a cake shop in Almoradi, it's got to be the Espinosa, just off the plaza on the corner of Calles Nueve de Octubre and La Purisma. You can eat in or take out. It's very difficult to go in there and just have a coffee!
