Hello

Just for your info... When I came to live here many years ago I had private health insurance. I chose a Dr from those available & took a note of my medication & dosage -- he then wrote down the spanish  name of the  equivalent tablets so I was able to buy the same things here, and in some cases, I  still do. It's certainly easier & safer than having them posted to Spain

Cheers

Hello

No, you'll be ok...You need to register your SI at your nearest INSS (Social Security Office) take your passport, padron & residencia, they will then give you a form that you take to your local health clinic(Centro Salud). They will give you a SIP card and allocate you a Doctor & you're done!  You might need an online  appt for the INSS  but that's where I live, could be easier for you. Good Luck
