I’m 79 and due to go for a blood test on 3rg April at Almoradi health centre followed by a visit to the doctor a week later,  should I keep this appointment?  And can my daughter drive me there

I'm sure they will contact you if it's cancelled or still on usually the day before.

Whether or not the appointment is cancelled depends on the reason for the blood test. If it's just a routine periodic test then I'm sure it will be cancelled.

If you use the online appointments system, or the GVA +Salut app, then you can check if the appointment is still in place.

You can't get it in English, but when you log into the app the first screen should be CITAS PENDIENTES - outstanding appointments. If it doesn't open at that page, just tap CITAS at the bottom left of the screen.

Got my blood test ok on Friday and doctor had told me to see her a week later.  I downloaded the app you recommended but unable to book an appointment on it or on the web site.  Don’t know if you have any suggestions this time thanks

The online appointments system has been suspended.

Whilst the app can be used to check if an existing appointment hasn't been cancelled, to make a new appointment it is necessary to ring your health centre.

I'm surprised that you weren't told to make the next appointment whilst you were at the centre.
