Discount holidays for pensioners

...confirm if this is so and if it is : Are there any stipulations, and how would I go about getting the holidays. Is it just the Spanish mainland? Or anywhere such as the Canaries and Bealeric Islands.

The Spanish pensioners get heavily subsidised holidays around October time. Its called the Imserso scheme sponsored by the Spanish government. I understand that if you are a fully legal resident you may also be entitled to participate in the scheme.

I don't think that people from third countries are eligible.

Free holidays, never heard of them.
