Hi Pete, unfortunately, the problem with that is that in order to any work of any kind whatsoever legally, you must register as autonomo - self-employed - and pay all the dues, plus of course, register with the tax office. The authorities are clamping down on cash in hand employment and the penalities can be very severe.

Dont wait Pete !! life is too short!! all of the obstacles can be overcome !! Get your self an Translator/advisor (recommended of course who may charge but will be worth every penny) He /She will guide you though all the steps to becoming a small entrerprise and translate any documents/ certificates that may be required .. We live and work in France now and believe me the red tape is the same if not worse here!! GO FOR IT !!! (thats the only capitals i will use lol
