Seems far from town but is excellent value.  Are there squatters?  Did it flood?  Just wondering why the price is so low

I don't know about these apartments but I live in Almoradi (further from the centre) and only have about a 10 minutes stroll into the centre of town.   These apartments are not far from the centre of town.

The floods that occurred around the area back in 2019 had never been seen so bad for around 100 years.   Parts of Almoradi were flooded (where I live was not affected) but the authorities soon had the roads that had been affected back in action.   Almoradi was not one of the worst hit places.

Thank you.  I suppose the litmus test would be if I asked you would you buy there again now if you were me or would you go elsewhere?  By the way price is a big consideration.  The apartment is very cheap at €40k with a pool

If it helps, we live in a flat right in the centre of town in Almoradi. We absolutely love it here and wouldn't move anywhere else. We moved here in October 2019. The town is so well looked after, that we have noticed many improvements since we moved. It's a great place to live. Good luck :-)
