Somewhere to rest
Other Spanish towns and villages have public benches IN THE STREETS where people can sit and rest but Almoradi does not.
Why not?

Most probably the budget does not permit. Then, people are supposed to work, restinig is rusting.
Hello
If you contact the Almoradi Ayuntamiento, you might get an explanation.

There may not be seating along the streets but every square and park area has plenty of seating - and there are lots of squares and park areas in Almoradi.

Look at a map of Almoradi and measure the distances between such areas. Other than the central area, most are nowhere near where I go when I have to walk.
In my younger, slimmer days I walked miles without thinking about it. Now a kilometre and I need a rest.

A two seat bench in Ikea is €75.
In Britain people can get public benches by dedicating them to people.

Maybe buy one of those ‘shooting’ walking sticks with a built in seat, then you can ‘rust’ wherever you please.

…or change where you walk 🤔
