Visitors to our finca

Rather than posting something 'deep and meaningful', I decided to post a few pictures for a change.
Those of you who live in built-up areas may not have seen much in the way of unusual fauna, so I hope the pictures might be of interest.
The cicada was the most difficult to find; we've all heard them, but not many have seen them.
The giant grasshopper and dragonfly are very common.
Lizards usually move to quickly to have their pictures taken, but this one was on a spaghetti tube on our pool, and was unable to move until I rescued him.
The snake was dozing on our front veranda, which is the only reason I was able to take a photo. We've seen a few black snakes, but they're definitely camera-shy.
