Hi everyone

We have had our green residencia cards since March 2014. Does anyone know if we need to renew them or are they permanant, it doesn't say on the card.

Thanks

Thank you so much for the info. Would the card be automatically changed or would we need to provide all the information again it was, I remember a bit of a pain last time.

I'm with Ray on this one. The law says that after five years you have the right of permanent residence. You can go through the EX-18 application process to get a card with the word permanente on it, but this is optional and, in my opinion, won't affect the ability to swap residency for a permanent TIE.

Good morning

Thank you so much for your reply. Could I ask you how you went about getting the change done for your wife. Did you go to the police station again or is there a special form to complete? I really don't know what I need to do. Thanks
