Hi, not received notification of this year’s SUMA for the car. When is the deadline and how can I pay it if I don’t t receive the bill? Also, can I pay it IN the bank, Sabadell in Almoradi in cash as I don’t trust the ATM.?
Is going out for that an essential activity?

Hi Sue,
I signed a direct debit form in the SUMA office last year and would have expected my car tax to have been taken by now. I am assuming that it is due to lack of manpower at this time. Has anybody noticed it coming out of their bank account, I wonder?

Many have not been recieved yet. Normally the deadline is early May. If the SUMA offices are open, the bill can be collected and the bill paid at a bank or online. I suspect though that the deadline will be delayed. SUMA bills are a "contract" between you and the ayuntamiento. Late or even non payment is not the major drama that it is in the UK..I will try and find out more
