Hi tellme,
Council Tax is set by your Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) and is known as "IBI" in Spain. SUMA is simply the agency that collects municipal taxes for all Town Halls in the Alicante province, so if you don't know whether you're liable for IBI on the land and house in construction, you may be better contacting your Ayuntamiento in the first instance.
Kind regards,
Kim

I don't know why you always assume Almoradi. The piece of land belongs to Crevillente and you will have to clear it here in Crevillente because of the tax. The Suma office is in "Carrer Cor de Jesus Corazon de Jesus".
thank you tnt369 i got it wrong and yes you are right it is crevillente .

Hi tnt396 can you help me further in my investigation i'am trying to find out if i/we have to pay a non-residential tax / fee plus a non-residential authorisat charges that is what it says on our bank statement which is paid every two years the bank told us that it's something to do being registered with the police ? but as we are unlikely to be able to retune to spain for the foreseeable future because of disabilities do we have to contact the police station in Crevillente to tell them before we close our bank account or just stop paying it anyway ? if we have to contact the police station would anybody know a contact number for them please any help would greatly appreciated.

The statement "something to do with the police" is too vague. There are different types of police here in Spain.
And then it is unclear what exactly the bank wants. Especially since there are different taxes for the property (to the tax office, to the municipality ...).
I am firmly registered here as a German ("Resident"). Therefore, I have too little knowledge to be able to help you competently in your situation.
I recommend that you contact an English-speaking Gestor. He can clarify the tax obligations for you on your behalf. As I do not know any Gestor personally, I cannot recommend one. Do you have friends or acquaintances here who can put you in touch with a Gestor?

Hi tnt369 thanks for your reply when you say Gestor we say meager do you recommend to get someone to go to the police station and ask them instead to see what they say .
