Hello,

I am Sara (21 years old) and I am searching for a small job in Altea la Vella (or Altea). I have a 2 dogs from the shelter myself, and enjoy walking with them. Now I am wondering if there are people around who can not walk their dog for a longer distance because of work, physical disability or other reasons. If you have other pets that need care taking, we can talk about that too :). The price is very negotiable.

Hello Sara

This subject of walking someones dog cropped up last year on the forum during lockdown. I was surprised by the various conditions/rules etc. necessary for this in Spain -- one being insurance that you would need, in case the dog did any damage anywhere, or attacked anyone while in your care! There were other things too relating to Covid 19 restrictions so it might be wise to wait until the current restrictions improve before taken on this task.

I will look for the other post from last year & if I find it I will post it as it was very helpful & some of it a surprise to me.
