Super helpful member
a covid mask is mandatory on all public transport.
The bus has a scrolling screen inside which displays each stop as it is written on the bus schedule killjoy posted so you can chart exactly where you are, I usually get off at the tram station in Altea then walk up to the centre from the streets on the left up to the church and places to eat or cross the road and go down to the sea front.

Hi ,
Just done number 10 return trip today from Benidorm to Altea . Nice little trip about 45 mins. We got off at last stop which was in the town and walked down to seafront. You need a mask and the driver only took cash or travel cards , and avoid anything over a 10 note if you can .

Depending where in Benidorm you are, you can also catch the tram from old town to Altea.
Regarding bus payment, I bought a card for €2 euros a couple of years ago from the driver then load it with €20 every time I go to Benidorm, you then pay a discounted rate with the card and don’t have to scratch about for change.

No,we walked along the seafront to Albir and caught it there, as it’s a nice walk. Obviously you don’t need to do that and in Altea there are a few stops you can catch it back , including (I think) the last stop.

It is a lovely walk from Altea to Albir along the sea front, easy and flat and as you get into Albir there are some nice places to eat and the bus stop isn’t far and easy to find to get back to Benidorm
