Greetings to all

I am travelling to the region in late October. As I am not vaccinated, could anyone kindly tell me what I am able to do and what I am obliged to do?

My understanding is that I may travel (planning to fly to Alicante) with a PCR test and the FCS form, I would then need to self isolate. Is this correct? I’m not clear from the many links and web pages on the internet on the topic.

Thank you in advance!

Dan

Google 'travel to spain from uk' and you should get the UK government's official information which is always accurate and up to date in my experience.

I must say I am not clear on whether I would need to isolate if I arrived without both vaccinations albeit with a negative PCR test etc ... there must be others in the same boat surely?,

It doesn't say you have to self isolate, therefore you don't have to.  Spain has never imposed mandatory self-isolation / quarantine / house arrest (whichever you choose to call it) and well done to them for not doing so.  I understand they regard it as a fundamental breach of human rights.

If anyone has not been vaccinated by now it's because they have chosen not to be, and that's no-one else's business.

When hospitals start filling up with unvaccinated covid patients and other treatments have to be put on the back burner then it does become someone else's business. So unless there is a medical reason for not being vaccinated everyone who is offered the vaccine should take it.

Those factors will no doubt be taken into account when people make their informed choice about whether to be vaccinated or not. They should not be coerced into doing so, nor discriminated against if they don't.  This is basic medical ethics which apply to any kind of medical treatment.

No one on this conversation has made any comment as to forcing anyone to take the vaccine just mentioned  that they themselves would be safer against getting  Covid with it

And of course if it prevents them from
getting Covid then it also helps to protect the people they are close to or in contact with

This in turn will keep numbers down and we may all get back to some normality
