We use the shopping center at Ondara as we are in pedreguer, the English school in la sella is fantastic apparently, looking at it myself now Steve jobs school la sella, I have found a lot more English youngsters in this area rather than altea, Valencia is certainly top notch. We are an hour from Valencia and 1 hour and 10 from Alicante, the lady Elizabeth school picks up from here to La Nucia, hope you find something

yes, I know the school Steve jobs, visited it about 3 years ago....., its Montesorri method....

i wasnt keen on Lady Elizabeth for its position so high up the mountain! I had height freight when we drove up there!!!! Aghhh

have you looked at Sierra Bernia school in Alfaz?

We spend all out spare time in Valencia city, we have an apartment there but its too small for us to live in, we have another one in Gandia which is where Mon to fri school time we live... we need to sell this to buy on again elsewhere!

Gandia is very large, largest town after Valencia city, but very small minded...and we have not met any new friends in the last year here! We find it boring and so spend all our free time in Valencia city! Like I say, by choice, we would live there.but we need a fairly large house garden and pool and this is the city is VERY expensive.. hence we started looking at Altea and surrounds and also hoping that this area would have ex pats as we like having English speaking friends, even though we speak fluent Spanish, we are hald Spanish half English!
