Hi everybody. What is the steps getting NIE in Alicante. I have an appointment this coming Wednesday and no one can tell me what I need or what to do. I have a form EX-15 (I’m European )filled in then what??I need other form modelo 720 012 but to do with this form where to pay for it nothing nada. Thank you for any feed back.

I just hope that your appointment is at the offices of the National Police as they are they ones who deal with this.
Hi , my appointment it is in Torrevieja because no available hours around Altea is where I live. The office there is I think immigration one. I can’t change the appointment right?

Hi Kali,
Yes, at Torrevieja it's an "Oficina de Extranjeros" (foreigners' office) and it's run by the Policia Nacional.

good luck, be prepared to queue, remember your photos and passport, and remember they only speak Spanish...

We looked at Jim's guide and printed off the forms from the website but found the whole process complicating
We have since obtained our NIE via our fantastic Spanish Lawyer, and found the whole process completely painless

Hi Kali,
I found the best two options are either your Spanish solicitor which'll be expensive, though they'll do all the work for you, or a Gestor which I used, again they do all the work for you and is cheaper...
