Does anyone know a chimney sweep company that can clean a pellet fire chimney?

I can clean the actual pellet stove but am unable to clean the chimney.

We are living in Adsubia just outside of Pego.

There is a sweep called Donchimenea, website, we’ve used him for our woodburner, but don’t know if he does pellet burners. He’s English, so worth looking up..

I understood pellet burners had to be serviced as opposed to just cleaned due to the complexity? Just interested?

They are supposed to be serviced which is basically stripping them down, cleaning then checking electronically but they never clean the chimney pipework.

I can do most of that except the pipework hence the chimney sweep.

I have a pellet fire but I have yet to clean the flue.  It's only 80mm in diameter.

I have seen a small version of the traditional sweep's brush with a long flexible tail in Leroy Merlin. It is in a coil and could be fibreglass.  I didn't pay it a lot of attention at the time.

I think it would be easy enough to run that up and down the flue as it will not be like clagged-on soot, but more like dust.

I’ve thought about that but am unsure how to enter the flue from the pellet fire end as all the pipe work is sealed up.

Starting it from outside doesn’t make sense to me because everything will fall towards the fire, in which case I’m baffled as to how the soot etc can be removed?

When the flue was installed they should have put an a tee piece at the base of the flue behind the fire with a removable cap that you can remove for cleaning.
