Hello,

In normal years ( & this is not one) there is a huge gathering on La Zenia beach in the morning, music, fancy dress, picnics  etc....here   is a  link    https://www.lazenia.com/2019/11/12/la-zenia-beach-christmas-day-2019/ i

As it is a red day then most places are closed except restaurants serving Xmas lunch & maybe a few others -- Xmas day for the Spanish is on  Three Kings Day on Jan 6th rather than 25th Dec. though over the years some of them do embrace it a little bit. I dont live in an ex-pat area like yours  & it is generally very quiet where i live  but others, who do, might have a  more

suggestions   but  hopefully, the sun will shine!

Cheers

Elinspain

I agree with Elinspain. IF it will be allowed this year, L Zenia beach is the place to go for Christmas Day and also New Year's Day. But looking at last year, I really don't know if it will happen, as it was absolutely packed. Fingers crossed 😘
