Have a look on "Jims Guides". I believe there is recent info on the forum.

You have enough income to satisfy the authorities you won't become a burden on the state.

The general consensus is that you have to have €9000 in a Spanish bank account for the last three months or €13000 for a couple.

You need to have a monthly income of around €900 per month going into a Spanish bank account.

As LindaLiv says....if you are already a resident holding a residency card, no financial information seems to be required. Did ours last week without fuss in Alicante, and are going back to collect the new TIE cards in a couple of weeks or so.
