How to get private health insurance

My husband and I are wanting to come to Spain for at least 6 months and have to get a visa, but we are having trouble with the health insurance we need can anyone tell me if there is any insurance that is so expensive, I think they know that we now need it to come there and have risen the prices quadruple.

any advise would be appreciated.
