Hi,

If you are a UK passport holder and want to live in Spain permanently you will firstly need to apply for a visa from the Spanish consulate. You will need to meet the income and healthcare requirements.

Since Brexit and if you are a UK passport holder it is not possible to live in Spain permanently without a visa. If you are successful in getting a visa you can then move to Spain and apply for residency within the first 90 days.

The tourist trade is still recovering from Covid and some restaurants may have closed until the tourists flock back, some may never re-open. All the staff working in these restaurants will also be looking for work when things get better.
Hours are long and many workers will not have employment contracts. It is also seasonal a lot of the time as even those that remain open all year will not keep the same number of staff over winter.
