AKIRA and SPA TSV came up when I Googled animal rescue centres Benissa so do that and you should find what you're looking for:)

I also volunteer at an animal rescue centre and have done for numerous ones over the years. It's very rewarding but please be prepared that you may find it distressing or upsetting sometimes due to the way some animals have been treated or found before they come to the shelter. Please don't let it put you off but a lot of people can't deal with the reality(which I'm certainly not knocking them for) so leave after one or two sessions.

Good luck and hope you enjoy and find it as rewarding as I do.

Meet niko. Sorry about bad photos.  He is about 4 months old and I have had him and his sister tana from when they were abandoned here at just about a week old, so I have bottle fed them and got them vaccinated, but I also have an old male staffie, 14 years of age. Up until a few weeks ago my home was harmonious and I thought my little family were going to be OK together, but overnight something changed, and I almost lost a finger trying to get my staffie of the poor little thing. I urgently need to find a home for him, because I now spend my days having to spend time with the little ones or my old boy and it is not fair on all three of them. Do you think you could give this gorgeous little boy a forever home, or even a Foster home? I know that if my older dog gets the slightest chance, he will kill niko next time. I have never seen that aggressive side before,  but last time ot could have been so much worse and much as it breaks heart to give the puppy I have had from a week old away, he needs to be somewhere safe and anybody would be lucky to have him in their home, because he is so so loving and is happiest when he gets belly rubs

Do you have a garden when you are here. It is three weeks more or less until.you will be here? I might still need a place, i hope not because this situation is gettimg worse daily as they are growing and growing. He is going to be a large dog i think. They both have these tails curled like an akita, but niko has the face of a mastiff at time. He certainly eats enough for two dogs, and poops for three lol. Can i keep in touch and get back to you if i have not found somewhere? Thanks so much for replying. Do you have foster dogs here often? It is a very kind thing to do.
