This may not be what you want to hear but here's what I do because I can't find anything round here.

On Thursdays there is a market in San Fulgencio urb. near Guadamar.  On there is an English book seller who does an exchange service.  I go down about once a month and stock up on books and do all my veg shopping etc in the market, which has lots of coffee places.

I then go down to Guadamar and have a lunch opposite the park, visit the ducks and peacocks on the ponds in the park, walk along the prom and make a day of it and of course have an ice cream.

If you enjoyed it on Thursday you can do it all again on Saturday as it happens again next to Iceland, Lidl, Mercadona and a brand new Aldi (not yet open) and in between all those is a huge Chinese todo warehouse.  It's all alongside the N332. Easy access and lots of parking.

Enjoy your day out.

If you do go to La Marina, check out the second hand/charity shops, they all sell books. There are two shops on the main strip (Av. Londres) two at Consum Square and one beside Super Valu.

Try charity shops. They usually inexpensive SAT charity in Guardamar charges 1 euro for 3.
