Hi all new to the forum and looking for honest advice.

I am currently in the process of buying an apartment in la Florida as a non resident for now and would like to know how to work out what I will have to pay for non resident tax on my property. I am not interested in renting it out its just a private holiday home, any advice or help is very much appreciated thanks 👍

It's best to employ a company to prepare your non resident tax for you. The cost differs from company to company. Try getlegalinspain.com.

Probably as he says, he’s new to the forum, and still finding his way around. Does it really matter? 🤪🥂

Hi Mark

Don’t worry about that, I’ve found it doesn’t matter one jot, they all end up being posted on the forum.

However...welcome to the forum. There are some very knowledgeable members who are only too happy to help 🤪🥂

Welcome to the forum!

We used Angar Taxation Services for our first year then calculated and paid it ourselves after that.

Angar only charge €20 plus what ever the amount of tax due is. If you own the property with somone else it's €20 each and the tax amount is split between you.

It's based on the Catastral value of the property. As an example, we own a 2 bed house in Playa Flamenca and paid €77 last year (€38.50 each). If we'd used Angar we would have paid €20 each extra which is not a lot.

I'm not saying your bill will be the same but it gives you an idea and its not as bad as some people think.

Hi Mark

Welcome to the forum and La Florida, I too have an apartment in La Florida, if I can be of any local assistance then please fire away.

Angar receive good recommendations on here for non res taxation, I believe they charge just €20 pp to do this for you.

PS Craig beat me to it and gave a more comprehensive reply lol.
