My husband & I are coming over towards end of July as we are completing on a property in La Sella , as a holiday home , we wondered if we should bring our car & then get it registered or buy a Spanish car - any advice appreciated ?
We moved to Spain last June and brought my wife's UK car with us as we couldn't buy similar second hand quality car in Spain for its value.
We used car-registrations-spain.com to carry out the work on the car to make it compliant and also handle all the paperwork. 1200€ in total and very well worth it. Check out their reviews.
No issues whatsoever driving a right hand drive vehicle in Spain, well apart from tolls and some car parks.

I also brought my cherished car with me, RHD, would cost at least twice the price to get an equivalent LHD.
Yes, care is needed in some situations like merging, but if you're a careful patient driver and adjust the left hand wing mirror correctly it's not a problem.

Buy Spanish, a lot less hassle cheaper insurance and the steering wheel is on the right side very handy when you are on your own for car parks and tolls. I have had both here I took the English cars back to the UK and sold them

Yet you the gave this advice to someone on a different thread about buying a Spanish car....
"thats how it is here, don't make the mistake of thinking here is anything like it is in the uk its not, expect to pay almost double here, if you want something for a set budget it will be twice as old with double the milage and no history than you would get in the uk, thats why i ended up buying secondhand private"
