Salsa dance lessons

Hi all

Can anyone help ! does anyone know of any salsa classes being held locally. My husband and I live in San Miguel de salinas but both drive so we could go to surrounding areas too .

If anyone can advise would be grateful

Hi, I teach ballroom, latin and sequence dancing but we do not teach Salsa any more as the age group we teach have problems with hips and knees - probably the age factor. I have tried google for you but nothing comes up.

I do know there is a Spanish Dance School in Los Montesinos that does Salsa but I do not know where. My suggestion is go to the Town Hall [Ayuntiamento] in Los Montesinos and ask where there are schools that teach Salsa [Bailar de Latino or Bailar de Salsa]. There were three or four places that taught LATINO dancing in Los Montesinos, probably still are. What you need to remember is that you are looking for BAILAR DE LATINO, that is the Spanish for Latin dancing - Latin does not include Salsa but LATINO style dancing does include Salsa. Good Luck,

Hi Andrea

Many thanks for your reply to my enguiry I will look into what you have advised, and hopefully will find a class. Luckily my husband and I are quite fit and agile so it should be ok. We did use to go to classes in the uk.
