Hi,  we have a property in Mar de Cristal, Mar Menor and we are desperately looking for a gas engineer to fix our gas line which is broken so no gas is going into our boiler and we have no hot water.  Can abyone recommend an engineer please.

Many thanks in advance  Tracey

Are you sure it's the gas line? If your boiler is 3 years old or more, the faulty part is most probably a rubber membrane which triggers the gas flow and gets worn out due to low water quality. The membrane itself costs a few pennies, but "Specialists" will rather convince you that your boiler is old and it's time to benefit from new techniques and get a new one. More money for less work. If you need to exchange the gas valve shown on the photo, that is very, very simple. Get a valve from most good Ferreterias. An adjustable wrench should exist in every household.

You say your gas line is broken.  Before I can give sensible suggestions I need more details.  What do you mean by 'broken'?

Where does the gas come from,  bottles??  mains?? Is there a regulator in the system??  what appliances are connected?? Is the pipework intact along its length???

Gas lines do not 'break' unless attacked with a hammer.
