Hi All,

What kind do you have installed and how much do you pay for it?

I would mainly have it installed to prevent squatters from entering but the company I consulted would charge 55 eur per Months including installation and equipment.

Is this reasonable?

 Thank you

Don't mix up "security" with "alarm". The only way to keep squatters away is a permanent physical surveillance impeding spatters to get in. Once they are in, even the Piolice can and will do nothing. The legal owner (not tennant or any "authorized" person) must obtain a court order to repossess his property.. An alram system makes a lot of noise and can be jammed. Professional sqatters are well prepared and open any door in a matter of seconds.  The best weapon is discouraging them making believe that there is nothing interesting to take away. Or get some ideas from "Home Alone".

55 euros per month including installation and equipment seems like a decent deal on the surface. But let me share a little personal experience.
A while back, I was in the same boat as you, looking to keep unwanted guests (ahem, squatters) out of my space. I did my homework, consulted a few companies, and stumbled upon Vivint smart home systems.
They also integrated seamlessly with my smart home setup. From keeping an eye on things remotely to controlling various aspects of my home with a few taps on my phone, it's been nothing short of convenient.
