Taxi from airport to benferri

There will be licensed taxis waiting outside the arrivals at the airport and they are all metered. 

Thanks Jan, do you have a rough idea of cost and I would also need a taxi for the return on the 20th but at 5.30am are there local taxis in benferri which could do this ?

I don't know the cost but I would think it could be around 60 euros (for a 4 person taxi) but I would ask before booking. There is a Taxi company called Easy Taxi Orihuela that may pick up in Benferri you could try asking them by email:

Also, for the return taxi for the airport, if you ask in the town hall in Benferri -  http://www.benferri.es/

They should be able to give you the licensed taxi details for the area.

None at all how do people get to the airport then ? 

That's a strange comment! There are taxi's everywhere in Spain, if you need them and look for them or ask in the town halls'. They may not always be lined up along the street like in touristy areas but they are always available.

Sorry it just seemed strange that there would not be a taxi service that would come to Benferri to pick up or drop off. 

Be interested to hear how Lynne10 gets on going to and from the town. Surely some people need a taxi to and from the airport.

I'm not so much worried about getting to Benferri it's the return journey to the airport with it being so early, I'm just concerned I won't find anyone to sort 

I'm coming out to stay at a friends place so know no one in the area, I was going to hire a car but unfortunately I need a credit card in my name which I don't have for a deposit/waiver
