3 times in the last year I have placed orders with Amazon which were allocated to SEUR for delivery.

On each of the three occasions SEUR have not rung my doorbell (it's working) and I've had to trek the 8km to Denia, battle for a parking space and collect the parcels from their office. On each occasion the receptionist just shrugged.

I've raised a complaint with Amazon about it. If you've had a similar experience log into your account and click through the contact options until you get to customer services. Let them know how awful SEUR are, because any customer pressure we can put on Amazon to select a better delivery company surely has to have some effect!

Rant over! 😁

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Yes, they have my number and email.

Maybe it's just the Denia depot, lets see if we get any other responses, good or bad.

Amazon (presumably via SAUR but I don't really know) have a 100% perfect record of delivering to my PO box both on time and without fuss, without actually checking I'm talking about around maybe 20 orders just in the past 3 or 4 months and plenty more prior to that.

Maybe that's something you could usefully look into doing because apart from venting your spleen I doubt complaining will change anything.

SEUR are actually the only courier company who have ever found my house without ringing me.

Because most of the things I order from Amazon are relatively small and not too heavy, I get them delivered to a local post office so I can collect at my convenience and don't have to hang about waiting for couriers.

Good idea! Thanks. And also to the others above for the feedback.

I can't remember where on the delivery address page the post office option appears, but I think it's up at the top and not very obvious. Small part-time post offices aren't on the list, but those who are open all day are listed. That means I can't go to Rafal, so I use Callosa. I go at 08.30 when they open and park outside. Free parking up to 10.00.

Same here RayD, SEUR from my experience are one of the more reliable couriers, love using the live tracking.

Like you we have had numerous problems with Amazon items and SEUR. We have complained to Amazon, had refunds, apologies, even cancelled one order. The excuses SEUR give are laughable, eg our address does not exist, we have requested delivery date be changed, item damaged returned to sender, no one at property to take delivery etc etc.

My heart sinks when I am informed that the delivery will be made by DHL, only recently I ordered something from the Range in the UK, all was going well, DHL tracking was telling me delivery was due 9th Sept, only for me to check the next day to see DHL had decided the address was incorrect ( it wasn't) and they were sending the package back to sender, after numerous phone calls  they eventually realised the address was in fact correct and the package was delivered the next day.
