Plenty of advice on the Internet I'm sure, not sure there's much calling for anyone coming forward with their personal experience of pet monkeys! Nicola :-)

Monkeys are wild animals. Any attempt to domesticate them or treat them as a pet is bound to cause some distress or mental anguish. Even circuses and street traders are being outlawed from keeping wild animals for the entertainment and titillation of humans. Have you stopped to consider the ethical side to this question as well as the practical side?

Dont.  These animals should be in the wild, not in cages 😡

Rescue a cat or dog instead. Monkeys are not pets they are captured from the wild and sold as a pet  Totally wrong.

I also agree with you. Where would you even buy a monkey to be a pet? I think there are too many homeless animals in spain as it is. Nicola :-)
