Hi all, just moved to Benidorm and the property has a 70cm. X80cm satellite dish. It is picking up Astra but all Dutch, German, Austrian, French channels, only sky ppv. Do I need a bigger dish (what size) or another problem. Previous owners were Dutch so might be why all the European channels. Thanks

You need a 120cm dish. However, a better alternative is IPTV which onñy needs a good data connection and a modern (smart-) TV or a fire stick.. Get exhaustive information at Moller SAT/Clima in Torrevieja next to Iceland. They speak your language Phone 965111522

As the dish is picking up "European channels", then it is on Astra 1 at 19 east.
The Sky pay channels you can see are Sky Germany Channels. These are not Sky UK pay channels.
And if the previous owners were Dutch, then perhaps it has a dual LNB system and is picking up the Dutch channel on Astra 3 at 23 east.
UK TV channels are on Astra 2 at 28 east, and for the lkes of BBC ITV C4 Fives the dish needs to be at least 125x135cm.

I do not know if it is still the case, but RTL in Germany used to show the F1 for free...
It has been a while since I have had a dish, so maybe sky has purchased the rights there now...

Sky Germany have rights.
But in 2022 these 4 races can be seen for free on RTL
April 24: Emilia Romagna Grand Prix - F1 Imola live on free TV on RTL .
July 3rd: British Grand Prix - F1 in Silverstone live on free TV on RTL
4 September: Dutch Grand Prix - F1 Zandvoort live on free TV on RTL
November 13: Brazilian Grand Prix -F1 in Sao Paulo live on free TV on RTL

Get a firestick I paid 30euro for one and 60 for the program, now I have all the UK Freeview, sky TV, all the sports including ppv all the movies channels, catch-up TV, VOD. Best thing I ever bought here

Hasnt stopped on mine or anyone's elses I know yet or any of the bars they are supplied in which is alot and they've had it for years. They are also in the UK all my friends and family have them and they all work perfectly
