Hello every body I am new to the forum and this is my first post

It seems along way away but we have booked Benidorm for September

But would like to go before then if possible

On our last 2 visits we’ve been to Altea Market

If it is the same bus will it take us right to the centre of Altea

Were all the bars are along the promenade

Thanks Christine

A no 10 bus takes you all the way to Altea and the final stop is  near the Sunday market site so presumably the town centre stops will be just before that.

There is also a large Sunday market at Albir and the same bus goes past there too!

Benidorm market is the biggest of the three.

I think the bus price is still €1.55

Hello Steve

Thank you for info look forward to going

Thanks for that

The reason I’m asking I went on utube last week and typed in Altea

And saw loads of bars along the sea front and thought it would be nice to visit there for a few hours to have a drink and something to eat

I’m also looking for other resorts or small towns to visit that’s not too far away

Hi,

Plenty of small bar along the sea front of Altea, Albir, Benidorm and La Cala. A beautiful walk along all of the promenades especially on a nice warm evening.

I would add Villajoyosa to Steve's list of places to visit.

If you are going to Altea, don't miss the artworks at the north end of the waterfront, just beyond the bars where the path continues beside the beach and around to the river.  Uplifting, educational, humorous, and a perfect spot for a selfie.
