Anyone know anything about a Park and Ride in Benidorm? Have read that one exists and links up with the trams somewhere, but I am having difficulty finding anything about it. Many thanks in advance......

So the "Park and ride" service @#2 suggests parking well out of town and catching a service bus to the beach area..........😏

That's fine by me. A friend has loaned me a huge old 4wd that is totally unsuitable for town driving.....

Yes, but that's the ethos of Park and Ride Schemes worldwide. The main purpose is to reduce traffic congestion and pollution in city centers by encouraging drivers to leave their cars in a car park outside the city and complete their journey using public transport. This provides economic benefits through reduced costs for drivers, stimulates local economies, and offers a less stressful travel experience.

Yes John I do know and understand what the "Park and Ride" scheme is about as do 99% of the population!!!

When I lived in the UK all the park and rides had car parks out of town but provided free bus services into the local city or town centre to encourage people to use the services, and that is the point I was making.........
