It would be illegal to drive it without first taxing it, as it's subject of a SORN. So how do you do a test drive?
I suggest you tax it - after all, you'll get the unused part of the tax back when you sell it.
Hi just to say yes it is on sorn but that don't stop anyone test driving van as van is on camp site not main roads so if it gets sold it will need taxed before take in away as can be taxed online I do hope this helps with your question

I have just taxed a Van and it can still be used on roads even tho I have taxed it online and waiting for money to leave the account!

Hi interested in your van,would you take 1750 euros, as the mot is about to run out and it will become illegal soon, it will have to go back to uk as it is not possible to register it on Spanish plates

Hi sorry just read email it would have to be 1750 pounds sterling and it would have to be today as off home tomorrow morning otherwise will return at end of month to pick van up thanks for your email
