Hi

Always been a lurker  but need some info

Been back and forth to Benidorm for the best part of my life

Always said I’m retiring at 50

This is coming up June this year getting ready to relocate

Still to this day unsure  of what to do  buy rent one the caravan parks who knows

Thats not really important  I’m sure I’ll sort it at some stage

Have  visited  the area a dozen or so times in the last 12 months  loved it every time and never wanted to return to the Uk

House is now gone and was ready to move then the virus hit

Had to quickly sort  something in the Uk so purchased a motorhome so  was not tied in to rentals etc and had to act quick or I would have been kipping on the beach

Quite getting used to it I must say

 It the question is this

When is it likely that non residents are going to be allowed back in to Spain and when will benidorm be opening back up

is this a question that can be answered or is it to soon

Have the Spanish government given any indication

Thanks again

Any views apperciated

Far too soon to answer your question on when the border will be open to non residents / tourists, you will get plenty of guesses but that is what they are just guesses. Sadly, most people think the 2020 Summer season is not going to happen, it will also be a long time before bars and restaurants reopen and some will not have survived the closure. So realistically 2021 is looking more realistic for coming out to Spain.

This is what I needed to know

What I’m experiencing in the Uk is almost like the government are not 100  percent grabbing at the issue

I can’t see anything being resolved here  for a long time

Maybe it’ll disappear as quickly as it came

Sounds like I may need a larger motorhome for a extended stay

Hi Villas....quite amusing but not very accurate. The difference with a parachute is that you know where you're heading and you'll know when you arrive. With Covid19  the restrictions will need to be lifted with an R factor greater than zero which will mean taking the parachute off and controlling the number of deaths. Unpalatable politically but harsh reality.

Hi, in answer to your question. I would 1st read the document on the EU Webb site which states all external boarders to the EU are open to EU citizens including citizens of the U.K. France has no internal boarder issues and you are free to travel in France as long as you carry a letter explaining where you are going and what for, available on the foreign office Webb site. Spain does have restrictions on the French / Spanish boarder which last until the 25th April, I have not seen any official documents thus far extending the restrictions further than that date and the EU is putting pressure on all states to remove any restrictions on there internal boarders as soon as possible. I would check with the Spanish embassy in the U.K. or the British embassy in Madrid before setting out to check out the current situation.

I agree. The other point is (for me personally) is that there is no way would I throw myself out of a perfectly functional aircraft.

Using the analogy in reverse, ie "F = Gm1m2/r2, where F is the force due to gravity, between two masses (m1 and m2), which are a distance r apart; G is the gravitational constant."

My intention is

1 I intent remaining on the ground.

2.I will remain in lockdown until it is over.
