I would think that Simple physics has a bearing on the spread of the virus, wearing a mask will generally if used correctly ensure that exhaled breath containing the virus goes downwards quickly and has less possibility of coming into contact with another person. In the winter when the weather is much colder the exhaled breath has a tendency to rise before it is cooled and will remain in the air at face height for a longer period. I'm probably nuts but it seems logical to me. I have always been surprised that joggers/runners do not have to wear masks with all their huffing and puffing.

It was probably me and the articles you cite do nothing to change the fact that vaccinations reduce the probability of infection and transmission with lower viral loads which is what I was trying to get over. Obviously vaccines will be far less effective in fighting off infection and transmission when exposure is to higher viral loads - as the articles you cite confirm.

Interesting but "This study did not directly address how easily vaccinated people can get infected with SARS-CoV-2, or how readily someone with a breakthrough infection can transmit the virus." It still seems those who are vaccinated and exposed to low viral loads may not become infected or transmit. Exposure to, and infection by, higher viral loads is, as one might expect, likely to cause symptoms and possible transmission by the host.
