Hi all at Benidorm Forum, is it correct, if  moving from GB to Spain to live you have to retake your car and motorbike tests? Are they 'easy' or not???

As it stands, yes.
This has been going on since Brexit after which extensions kept being given until the very end of April this year when it was announced that from 1st May  UK licences would only be valid for 6 months after arriving here. This left a lot of people who had been hoping for an exchange agreement stranded and unable to drive.
We are now led to believe that there MAY be an announcement in the next couple of weeks which MAY state that we can do a basic exchange as we did pre-Brexit. No guarantees.
I'm not sure but I think motorbike licences may be even more complicated if you have to take a Spanish test, maybe something to do with having to ride a very low cc bike for so long before being able to upgrade but I know very little about bikes so do your own research.
Hopefully within a couple of weeks we will have a breakthrough.
Edit, the theory is far from easy and there are a lot of differences to rules in the UK for the practical.

I understand that it's far from easy.

Cheryl is correct in the fact that if you pass the motorcycle test you will be limited on CC size and build up to large CC bikes over time.

Your motorcycle test is done in the Spanish language.

Not sure about CBT but the rules for progressing to a group A motorcycle licence are pretty much the same as for a new driver in UK.

You'll find those on the DVLA website.

It may help if you have a look at the N332 website as it deals with anything to do with driving in Spain and is for English speaking people.   The site, and their Facebook page, is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code on it.
